Dental Lace Refillable Flosser

Very disappointed in how ineffective it is to use. It just breaks the silk floss I bought and I have to use my hands. If I do use it, it takes multiple attempts and is a complete waste of floss

picked up at a local coop, and some dental lace. Love dental lace! way better than floss. This thing though... geez. imagine applying force to remove floss with the back stop being your teeth/roof of your mouth! Not great, regret buying. Fingers are faster and safer.

I like the idea of a non plastic reusable flosser but this design is incredibly dangerous because of its large size, and given that size and that it’s made of metal it could easily scratch the enamel off your teeth. This could work if it was MUCH smaller.

Seemed like a great idea and picked this up at the local market, but upon use it’s a scary device that cuts the mouth up. The floss doesn’t stay tightened and loosens up after a few teeth and needs to be readjusted. and then the floss breaks, repeatedly. When it snaps the tines slam into your gums and the roof if the mouth, cutting the skin. using your hands is much faster, easier, and safer.

This thing is solid. Built to outlast the apocalypse. Unfortunately, it seems that during the design phase, a crucial requirement seemed to be forgotten, and that was that this flosser needs to go inside a mouth.

It's super clunky, y'all. Like others report, the edges are sharp, the thumbscrew is incredibly short, and the tension of the floss is really poor. The loss of control means you're wrestling with it, trying to not have the floss come off the tines while also trying not to cut into your gum, or punch yourself in the face.

The design needs to be smaller, smoother, with finished edges, deeper slots for the floss to sit in the tines, and the screw needs a longer thread. In short, this feels like a prototype, and it needs to go through another few iterations before being sold to customers.
