Unpaste Fluoride Free Toothpaste Tablets Refills

BETTER THAN TOOTHPASTE

  • Gently polishes your teeth leaving fewer places for bacteria to attach and reducing the formation of plaque and tartar.
  • Less abrasive than most brands of toothpaste but leaves you with a just-after-the-dentist feeling.
  • Contains no preservatives, SLS, sodium saccharin, artificial colors, aluminum, or nanoparticles – nothing extra to be absorbed in your mouth.

125 Tablets in each package. 2 Months Supply.

Microcrystalline Cellulose

facilitates UNPASTE’s ultra-smooth polishing action, even cleaning and polishing in the interdental spaces. Debris simply beads up on the tooth surface, with plaque growth being inhibited.

Sodium bicarbonate (Baking Soda)

adjusts the pH of the tablet with citric acid.

Silica

serves as a cleaning agent and helps to remove any soft plaque.

Amisoft (Sodium Lauryl Glutamate)

is a surfactant that combines the dissolved proteins and fats with water to flush them out while rinsing. In Amisoft, glutamic acid is esterified with coconut fatty acids. In this chemical process, two naturally occurring substances (coconut fatty acids and glutamic acid) are combined, losing their original properties. Glutamate should not be confused with the flavor enhancers (MSG) used in the food industry. Unpaste tablets are glutamate and gluten-free.

Magnesium Stearate

is a compound commonly used in tablet manufacturing.

Natural Mint Flavor from essential oil

gives UNPASTE its breath-freshening power.

Menthol

helps freshen breath and adds a brisk, cool sensation to brushing.

Xanthan Gum

is a natural thickener and gelling agent that provides pleasant creaminess after chewing Unpaste tablets.

Stevia

is a natural sugar-free substitute that together with the mint aroma and the menthol, provides a good taste without the worry of tooth decay. The stevia flavor is very mild.

Citric Acid

regulates the pH value together with sodium bicarbonate (see above) and stimulates salivation. The increased flow of saliva causes faster remineralization of the tooth surfaces.

Great Plastic Free Option!

I purchased both the fluoride free and the with fluoride tabs--I like to switch it up. The tabs are bit on the small side, so make sure not to put (much) water on your toothpaste before brushing--there's not enough there to make it through lots of water. I'm happy to have a consistent, plastic-free toothbrushing option (and one that doesn't come in a cardboard box... in my past experience those got nasty way too easily!).

This is a good idea

I like the floss and the toothpaste. When I think about how many empty tubes of toothpaste I have tossed....its just horrible, so I think the toothpast "lozenges" is a great idea. Once I chase the pill with my electric toothbrush and I get the suds going there is no real difference in the tooth brushing experience. And floss that can be composted is a wonderful thing. Now its time to do some serious advertising to spread the word. I love the glass containers too.
