Happy Earth Month

The month of April is a wonderful time for celebrating our planet. But why stop there? We here at Dental Lace treat every day like Earth Day. Not only do we work to provide sustainable oral care products to our wonderful customers, we strive to keep our earth as clean as we can. Even when Earth Month is over, do your part to help spread the word about why and how to care for the Earth.

On April 13th we had the opportunity to go on the Breakfast Club radio show, on WIGY in Auburn Maine. It was a blast getting to sit down with them, and talk about our mission to make our planet a cleaner place. If you didn't catch the original broadcast, you can still listen to it here.

The Green Home and Energy Show 

On Saturday, April 9th we attended the Green Home and Energy Show! We loved getting to talk to new and old customers, discovering ideas on how to "greenify" our home and business building, and setting our eyes on some gorgeous electric cars.

Trash Audit 

 

This is the plastic trash we produced during the months of March and April. Our plastic calculator broke! Although we have used it many years and these types of items do not break often, it is now unfortunately plastic waste. Is there such a thing as a wooden or metal calculator? Can anyone recommend an alternative? We are still having a hard time with plastic wrappers, but we are being mindful everyday of what is being thrown out and trying to prevent plastic waste.
