Even More Zero Waste?
As a company that strives to be eco friendly, we look to reduce waste everywhere we can. That is why we’ve introduced a new option for our customers. You still get Dental Lace’s container with the same 33 yards of silk floss, but without the additional packaging.
It was great to see so many vendors and exhibitors at the New England Made show. We made a lot of new connections with the folks there, and hope you will be able to find Dental Lace in even more stores in the near future.

Maine Becomes First State to Sign
Extended Producer Responsibility Law for Packaging
On July 13, 2021, Maine became the first state to sign Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) legislation into law for plastics and packaging materials, similar to a law passed in Oregon on August 6, 2021. The goal of this program is to reduce the volume of non-recyclable packaging by having businesses pay into a fund based on the amount, and the recyclability of packaging associated with the products they produce. Those funds will then be used to support recycling, and waste management efforts throughout the state of Maine. We are proud of our home state of Maine for leading the way for EPR legislation nationwide.
