Local and Sustainable
If you’re like me, you understand the importance of replacing wasteful household products with planet friendly alternatives. While most products can be found easily online, I also believe that it is important to shop for your favorite products locally. Not only does it show your commitment to saving our planet, it helps support local businesses.
One local shop that has become my go-to for sustainable products is GoGo Refill in South Portland Maine. Here, I stock up on all of my favorite reusable, or refillable products.
When it comes to taking food on the go, you can’t go wrong with their stainless steel storage containers, and bamboo tableware which are great for camping and road trips. I also use the containers for storing leftovers at home.
The GoToob containers are great for shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. The best part? When you run out, you can get them refilled at GoGo.
For replacing one-time use, disposable paper towels, Marley's Monster's cleaning towels are the best. They are 100% cotton flannel, and come in many great colors, and designs. Even My husband has gotten on board with them.
